The 2015 state conference is just around the corner! Please join Show-Me Cannabis and Missouri NORML on Friday, June 26, and Saturday, June 27, for a time of education, networking, and fighting for justice.

Reception at the Rieger Hotel

Friday, June 26, kicks off with an intimate gathering of Show-Me Cannabis Board members, special guests Mary Lynn Mathre and Tom Mundell, and some of our most important supporters at the historic Rieger Hotel Grill & Exchange, located at 1924 Main Street in the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District. The evening will feature heavy appetizers and a welcome cocktail, along with cash bar. Guests may also order additional food from the menu, and have the opportunity to try one of many interesting cocktails engineered by nationally-recognized bartender Ryan Maybee. Tickets are $100 each and may be purchased online here. Space is limited so please RSVP to me by email if you intend to pay at the door.

2015 State Conference

Saturday, June 27, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. will be our semi-annual state conference at EventPort in Kansas City, located at 208 W 19th St. Tickets are $10 for regular admission, $5 for students, and free for persons with disabilities. (There is a wheelchair accessible ramp located in the alleyway.) More information and tickets are available here.

The tentative schedule for the conference is also available on the conference event page.

Conference After-Party

Later on Saturday when the cannabis conference is over, let the legalization party begin! Shortly following the daytime events, we will be hosting our fundraiser after-party and auction at the same location (EventPort at 208 W 19th St.) from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. Polish off the day with good people and good music provided by djs Papa Biz and Brother JJ of Hometown Sounds. We will also have a live auction, and some snacks will be provided. Individual tickets may be purchased for $15 and the price includes one drink ticket. Colorful attire is encouraged.

Special thanks goes to conference sponsors Meyerkord, Russell and Hergott Trial Attorneys.

Sponsorships are still available for the conference, and volunteers are still needed. Please email me if you are interested in a sponsorship or volunteering or have any other questions.

See you in KC!
